The ZZSENSAL0400AA is a white remote indoor sensor that has a 20° to 120°F(-6.7° to 48.9°C) measurement range and 20 to 120°F operating temperature with +/-.5°F at 75°F accuracy. It has a 20° to 120°F (-6.7° to 48.9°C) display range.

The remote temperature sensor is suitable for indoor applications. the unit is used to monitor the temperature of the building or area.

The ZZSENSAL0400AA replaces part numbers SEN1337 and SEN01337.

It is easy to install and can be mounted on a wall.

Can two of these wired sensors be used to replace two wireless sensors originally installed with our XL1050 thermostat?

The Trane ZZSENSAL0400AA Remote Indoor Sensor is originally designed to work with the XL950 Comfort Control. Although the XL1050 is the current direct replacement of the XL950, we are not able to confirm that it is in fact a suitable sensor and that there will not be any compatibility issues. We suggest speaking to a local licensed Trane professional that is familiar with your local safety standards, Trane products, and your application to determine. At this point, we are not sure if these indoor sensors will work with the XL1050.

Yes, for one sensor. In the 1050 installation manual, in page 16, there is an answer "If a wired remote sensor (ZZSENSAL0400A) is connected to the 1050 RS terminals and assigned as the indoor temperature sensor, the onboard temperature sensor as well as the onboard humidity sensor of the 1050 is disabled."
